Track Maintainer Grade-IV (Trackman) – RRB Group D

**Track Maintainer Grade-IV (Trackman)** is a frontline maintenance post under the Engineering Department of Zonal Railways. **Pay Scale:** Level-1 (₹18,000–56,900) + Transport Allowance + Allowances as per 7th CPC. **Job Profile:** - Inspection, maintenance, and repair of railway tracks, points, and crossings. - Attending to track patrolling duties as per schedule. - Carrying out maintenance works including rail replacement, key tightening, and ballast packing. - Assisting Gang Mate during track renewal and special works. - Reporting track defects and safety-related issues to supervisors. **Physical Efficiency Test (PET):** Male – 35 kg weight lift for 100m, 1000m run in 4 min 15 sec. Female – 20 kg weight lift for 100m, 1000m run in 5 min 40 sec. **Selection:** CBT → PET → Document Verification → Medical (B1 Category).
