**Safai Karamchari (Sanitation Worker)** – Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) recruits Safai Karamcharis for maintaining cleanliness and public hygiene across all zones of Delhi. **Pay Scale:** ₹13,000–₹16,000/month (Pay Matrix Level-1) + Delhi Allowance + Medical. **Job Profile:** - Sweeping and cleaning of roads, lanes, drains, and public spaces within the assigned ward. - Collection of door-to-door solid waste (wet & dry segregated garbage) and loading into MCD vehicles. - Operating push carts, hand trolleys, and assisting in operation of compactor vehicles. - Maintaining cleanliness of parks, public toilets, and community spaces. - Participation in special cleanliness drives (Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Safai Saptah). - Reporting overflowing drains, uncollected waste, and dead animal carcasses to Sanitation Inspector. **Age Limit:** 18–35 years (relaxation as per GoI norms for SC/ST/OBC). **Selection:** Merit-based on 8th / 10th marks + local residence preference.
